About

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a certified elementary teacher, dance educator, and yoga instructor with a passion for bringing more movement, mindfulness, and joy into the classroom. With a BFA in Dance, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master’s degree in Dance Education within the Elementary Classroom, I’ve spent years exploring how movement can transform learning—not just in the studio, but in every subject and every classroom.

After teaching across grades K–5 and seeing firsthand how much kids thrive when they’re given the chance to move, I knew I had to share what I’d learned. That’s how this blog was born—a place where movement meets education in playful, practical ways.

Whether you’re looking for brain breaks that actually calm the chaos, yoga flows that support self-regulation, or creative ways to tie movement into literacy and science, I’ve got you covered. Every resource here is designed to be teacher-friendly, kid-approved, and grounded in research and real-life classroom experience.

I know teaching is demanding (and sometimes exhausting!), so my mission is to make it easier for you to bring movement into your day in a way that feels manageable, meaningful, and fun. You don’t need a dance background or yoga certification—just a willingness to try something new and a love for your students.

Thanks for stopping by—I’m excited to move and grow with you!

With gratitude and a big deep breath,
Megan
